The People Behind AAE

Local Leadership. Skilled Union Tradespeople. One Team.

Atlantic Alliance Elevators is a New Brunswick-owned, family-operated and proudly unionized elevator company.

We're led by people who know the elevator industry firsthand, supported by a local office team, and powered by skilled union mechanics and apprentices who live and work in the communities we serve.

We're not a branch office reporting to a distant corporate headquarters.

The people responsible for AAE are right here.

Brad Tricoteux

President | Elevator Mechanic

Atlantic Alliance Elevators is led by Brad Tricoteux, an experienced elevator mechanic with more than 20 years in the trade.

Brad's career has given him firsthand experience with the technical demands of the elevator industry — from troubleshooting difficult equipment and maintaining critical systems to understanding what building owners actually need from their elevator contractor.

That experience matters.

When a complicated issue reaches the President of AAE, it doesn't need to be translated through layers of management. Brad understands the equipment, understands the trade and can work directly with our mechanics and customers to find practical solutions.

Union Experience That Shaped the Company

Before founding Atlantic Alliance Elevators, Brad was heavily involved with the Union and saw firsthand the value that organized labour brings to employees, businesses and the communities they serve.

That experience continues to influence the company AAE is today.

We believe a successful elevator company depends upon skilled, properly trained tradespeople who are respected for the work they do.

That's why AAE is proudly unionized.

For us, being locally owned and being a union company go hand in hand: both are about investing in skilled people, creating good local jobs and building a stronger industry here at home.

Monique Tricoteux

Office Operations

If Brad helps keep the elevators moving, Monique keeps just about everything else moving — including, occasionally, her brother.

Brad's sister, Monique Tricoteux, oversees AAE's office operations and plays an important role in keeping our mechanics, customers, projects and day-to-day operations organized.

Quick-witted, practical and rarely rattled, Monique is often one of the first people our customers encounter when they contact AAE.

As a family-operated business, there's no enormous divide between “the office” and “the field.” Our team works together, communicates directly and solves problems as they arise.

And Monique helps make sure they actually get solved.

The People Who Keep You Moving

Proud Members of IUEC Local 125

Behind every service call, maintenance visit, repair and modernization is our team of skilled elevator mechanics and apprentices.

All AAE mechanics and apprentices are members of the International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC) Local 125.

We're proud of that.

Elevators are highly specialized pieces of equipment, and the people who work on them matter. Our mechanics bring technical training, trade experience and hands-on problem-solving to the buildings and customers we serve.

Our apprentices represent the next generation of that trade — learning alongside experienced mechanics and developing the skills required to carry it forward.

AAE believes in investing in skilled tradespeople and creating opportunities for those skills to remain here in Atlantic Canada.

Family Owned. Union Proud. Locally Accountable.

Being a family company isn't just part of our history.

It's part of how we operate.

Brad leads the company. His sister Monique runs the office. Brad's stepson, Ethan, is following him into the trade as an elevator apprentice.

But the AAE family is bigger than the Tricoteux family.

It's the mechanics and apprentices who represent us in our customers' buildings every day. It's our office team. It's the local suppliers and trades we work alongside. And it's the customers and communities who have trusted a locally owned elevator company with their buildings.

We're proud to be building something here.

Something local.

Something sustainable.

And something we hope will be serving Atlantic Canada for a very long time.
